Donation Drive: Let’s All Lend a Hand to Louisiana

Dear Park Family,

The recent catastrophic flood in Louisiana, now responsible for more than a dozen deaths and tens of millions of dollars in response expenses, has been labeled the worst natural disaster to strike the United States since Superstorm Sandy. Many people have lost everything they owned.

Today, Park University will step up to lend a helping hand. Beginning Friday, Aug. 26, through Friday, Sept. 9, Park will host a donation drive to benefit the victims of the Louisiana flood devastation. Funds raised will be collectively sent to the American Red Cross and specifically targeted to their flood relief efforts.

Please click here to be taken to the donation page. (Updates on our progress can also be found on the donation page throughout the campaign.)

A special thank you to Carol Miles for suggesting this initiative. Thoughtful and engaged global citizenship is woven into the fabric of our University’s history and will always be an integral part of our identity. Let’s show the world – and most importantly, those in Louisiana – exactly who we are: good friends in a time of need.

Give today!

Greg Gunderson, Ph.D.
